Beeswax- Why? This is one of the oldest raw ingredients to be used in cosmetics dating back to Egyptian times. It is regarded as having anti-allergic, antioxidant and skin softening properties.

Wheatgerm- Why? Nutritiously packed vegetable oil that is believed to have many health benefits. It contains oleic and linoleic acids, both of which are soothing for the skin.

Honey- Why? It has been used as a skin ointment for over 2000 years due to its antiseptic nature. It is also a natural humectant (it attracts and retains moisture), and therefore helps to condition the skin. Honey also carries the medicinal properties of the plants and herbs from where bees have collected their nectar onto the skin .

Evening Primrose Oil- Why? When applied to dry, itchy skin Evening Primrose Oil is very effective. It has been shown to help eczema, psoriasis and acne. Many of the soothing properties are attributed to gamma-linoleic acid, or GLA, a key component of the plant.
